How to start using HeyPolo

HeyPolo is a location-sharing application designed for safety, context, and consent. To get started, download the application from the Google Play Store (if you're using Android) or the Apple App Store (if you're using an iOS device).

Create your HeyPolo account

1. Open the HeyPolo application and tap on Get started.
   
   
    
2. Enter the email address of your account and tap Continue.
   
   
    
3. A one-time use login code will now be sent to the email address you've entered. Enter the code and tap Continue.
   
   NOTE: The code is valid for 15 minutes after being generated.
   
   
    
4. Enter your date of birth and name, both times confirming it by pressing Continue.
   
   
   
   
    
5. Select your role in the group. Afterwards, select how other group members will be able to see you:
   1. Exact location – other group members will be able to see your exact location on the map.
   2. General area – other group members will see only the neighborhood you are in.
      
      
       
6. Lastly, join an existing group or create one, and that's it – your account is ready for use.
