How to set up a group in HeyPolo

This article will guide you through the simple process of creating a group in HeyPolo on an Android or iOS device.

How to create a group

Follow these steps to create a HeyPolo group on an Android or iOS device.

1. Tap on the group bar:
   
   
    
2. Here you'll see all your current groups. Select Create group.
   
   
    
3. Name your group and tap Continue.
   
   
    
4. Select your role in the group.
   
   
    
5. Adjust your visibility – these settings will determine how other group members will see you:
   • Exact location – with this option selected, other members of the group will be able to see exactly where you are.
     
     
      
   • General area – with this option selected, other members of the group will be able to see the neighborhood you are in.
     
     
      
6. Next up, you'll be presented with your group's invitation code. Share it with those whom you want to join your group, or check out our more detailed guide on how to send an invite to a group in HeyPolo.
   
   
    
7. That's it – your group is now created.
