This article will guide you through the adjustments you can make after joining a group in HeyPolo or creating a group in HeyPolo.
Here's how to adjust
- Begin by tapping on your current group.
- You will be presented with a list of groups that you're currently part of. Tap on the three dots next to a group that you'd like to adjust your visibility settings for.
- The options that appear depend on whether you're the owner of the group or just a member of it:
- If you're the owner, you'll be able to:
- Change your visibility.
- Change the group's name.
- Delete the group.
- If you're a member of the group, you can:
- Change your visibility.
- Leave the group.
- If you're the owner, you'll be able to:
Change your visibility in a group
- Tap on My visibility.
- In the visibility settings, you can adjust:
- Change the color you're represented by on the map.
- Select whether other group members can see your precise location or the general area you're in.
- Select when you are sharing your location.
- In the sharing settings, you can:
- Select that your location sharing is on all the time.
- Select that your location sharing is enabled on repeating periods. This allows you to set your location to share only on specific days and during a defined time window.
-
One time – here you can toggle the start date and time of the location sharing period, as well as the end time and date. Once this set time period passes, your location will no longer be shared with other group members.
