Why can’t HeyPolo get my location and how can I fix It?

Problem

HeyPolo is unable to retrieve your location.

Common symptoms

• Your location is not displayed in the app
• Location sharing does not update
• The app indicates that location access is unavailable

Troubleshooting steps

• Make sure location permissions are granted to HeyPolo. If permissions are disabled, the app will not be able to access your location.

• Check your environment for GPS availability. Your device may not receive a GPS signal if you are:

  • Inside a building
  • Inside a tunnel or underground
  • Inside a vehicle or another environment with direct coverage between the device and the sky

  Move to an open area and allow the device time to reacquire a GPS signal.

Additional tips

• If changes don’t take effect immediately, refresh or reopen the app.
