The HeyPolo Emergency Alert is a safety feature designed to quickly notify people connected to you when you may need immediate assistance.

How Emergency Alert works?
When you trigger the Emergency Alert:
- All members of all your HeyPolo groups are notified
- Notifications are sent immediately to ensure maximum visibility
- Optional SMS notifications are sent if an emergency phone number is set
There is no option to limit the alert to specific groups.
How to cancel the emergency alert?
An active emergency alert can be canceled at any time.
To cancel the alert, tap Cancel Emergency in the app. Once canceled, no further emergency notifications will be sent.
Is there a way to test emergency alerts?
At this time, emergency alerts cannot be tested. Triggering the alert will notify all members in your groups, so the feature should only be used in real emergency situations.
